This policy explains how Clepit ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use clepit.com and Clepit Cloud at app.clepit.com. The open-source editor you self-host collects no data on its own.

Information we collect

On clepit.com

• Browser type, IP address, and device info (via our error tracker)
• Standard server logs from our hosting provider
• Anonymous analytics on page views and CTA interactions

On Clepit Cloud

• Account details (email, display name) you provide on signup
• Workspace and document content you create
• Billing information handled by our payment processor (Stripe) — we never see your card

How we use it

• To operate your workspace and sync documents across devices
• To authenticate you and prevent abuse
• To bill for paid plans
• To respond to support requests

We never sell your data or use it to train models.

Third-party processors

• Vercel — website hosting
• Supabase — database and authentication for Clepit Cloud
• Stripe — payments
• Sentry — error tracking

Your rights

You may request a copy of your data, corrections, or deletion at any time. Email support@clepit.com and we respond within 30 days. On Clepit Cloud you can export every workspace as JSON or Markdown before cancelling.
