Clepit treats EU and UK residents under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR. This page summarizes the lawful bases we rely on and the rights you have.
Data controller
Bomdisoft is the controller for data collected on clepit.com and Clepit Cloud. Contact the data protection team at privacy@clepit.com.
Lawful bases
- Contract — to provide Clepit Cloud to paying customers and free-tier users
- Legitimate interest — error tracking, abuse prevention, anonymous product analytics
- Legal obligation — to comply with tax and accounting laws
- Consent — for optional marketing emails, which you can opt out of at any time
Your rights
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Erase your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Restrict or object to processing
- Data portability: export your workspaces as JSON or Markdown
- Withdraw consent for any processing based on consent
- Lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority

International transfers
Clepit Cloud data is stored in EU regions by default. Where data crosses borders (for example to our US-based error tracker), we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses.
Data Processing Addendum
Business and Enterprise plans include a DPA. Contact privacy@clepit.com to receive one.
