About Clepit

Clepit is two things in one. An open-source block editor you can drop into any web product, and Clepit Cloud, the hosted knowledge base built on top of that editor for teams that just want to write, search, and share.

We built it because every team wiki we tried either locked the editor away behind a closed SaaS, or shipped an editor so bare it needed months of engineering to become usable. Clepit gives both sides away: the editor is MIT, the SaaS is affordable per-seat.

What we believe

• Content is the primitive. An editor should output clean JSON you own, not HTML trapped inside a proprietary database.
• Framework-agnostic by default. Your stack should not dictate your wiki. Clepit mounts anywhere with a DOM.
• Open first, hosted second. The library leads. The SaaS follows for teams that do not want to run their own stack.

Who builds Clepit

Clepit is built and maintained by Bomdisoft, a small software studio focused on developer tools and community infrastructure. We ship our products in public and answer directly at support@clepit.com.
